NBA Re-Draft Podcast Part One

In part one of our podcast featuring the first UA Cat Wrap contest. Bryant, Josh, and Paul decide to tackle the NBA Draft by taking matters into their own hands and re-drafting the top twenty-one players and placing them on a fantasy team while providing commentary on the most wise and unwise picks of 2009. At the end of the year they will look back and see which rookie team preformed the best. The podcast team also covers Jordan Hill's role on the New York Knicks, Tyler Hansborough, and the future of the Phoenix Suns.

JJ Whittaker commits to the University of Arizona

Sorry about the lull folks, everyone at the Cat Wrap is gainfully employed and sometimes it takes a bit to arrange a new podcast. If you have not heard yet - Mike Stoops and Co. picked up another fast recruit as J.J. Whittaker committed to the University of Arizona. Whittaker runs a 4.4 forty which is very quick. Whittaker chose Arizona over: Texas A&M, Washington, Washington State, San Diego State, and New Mexico State. This makes him the seventh recruit and first corner back we have picked up.

The Arizona Daily Star does not have an article up about Whittaker because they are slow and probably only have 2 sports journalists left on payroll.

In other news, Arizona's Recruiting Class has been Ranked 12th by Scout.com beating out every other Pac-10 school except for UCLA.

Lance Stephenson, a very talented recruit who once tripped over his own ego after he decided to make a website about how awesome he was at basketball finally wrapped up his recruitment by committing to Cincinnati. Arizona had been recruiting him for a short period of time and then probably realized that O.J. Mayo 2.0 was probably a bad thing for our team.

We have some great material coming up including a podcast about the NBA Draft. Stay Tuned.

Below is a great Podcast featuring Neal Babcock that covers the unique Arizona Recruiting Class that you will enjoy. Read on.
